The LIBERT’HOME recruitment team endeavours to match your needs with a suitable babysitter.

Indeed, because LIBERT’HOME adapts to the needs of its customers, we do not have the same selection criteria for our English speaking babysitters as we do for our French speaking babysitters for one simple reason: the service is different.

Here is an outline of our recruitment process

  • 1) Pre-selection of candidates After applications are submitted online via our website or email, we select those that meet the needs of our customers.
  • 2) Reference Checks LIBERT’HOME verifies that the information contained in the applicant’s Curriculum Vitae is accurate.
  • 3) The first telephone contact When an applicant’s profile matches our customer’s needs, we conduct an initial telephone interview and if successful, we then arrange an appointment for interview with the applicant.
  • 4) The interview :
    The interview allows us to get to know the candidate better and assess their appropriateness for a role with us. The themes are:
    • – Motivation
    • – Skills and qualifications
    • – Experience with children
    • – Their availability
    • – Safety, health and hygiene
    • – Employability (For applicants who are not applying for French citizenship and wish to provide childcare in English)


  • Applicants wishing to provide childcare in English are interviewed in English to ensure their fluency.
  • 5) Matching and meeting a family After selecting our candidate, we organize a meeting in your home to ensure that he / she is suited to your needs.
